08 February 2011Will there be anymore 13 books, because I was wondering what will happen with Warick and Rowan's real mum.
The 13 Secrets is the end of the series for now, but it's possible I may return to those characters at some point in the future. Until then, I'll leave it to your imagination.
08 February 2011hi! wow that is a lot of entries! i just got 13 curses at my family birthday party! i was probably the most excited about that. [actual birthday is january 3rd] i am doing a dance for the talent show with my friends and it is so cool!

07 February 2011Hi , I love your books there amazing! I am now in the middle of reading The 13 curses its such a gripping read , I just cannot put it down ! how do you get the inspiration for all the characters and mischief that goes on ? Thankyou x
Hi Indi, glad you're enjoying book 2. For characters I sometimes use snippets of behaviour/looks from people I know or have met, but it's often exaggerated. For mischief - I guess I just like imagining 'what if?' and have a mischievous sense of humour :)

Thanks Morgan. I started by keeping a diary for a few years, which was good practise, reading A LOT, and then went on to short stories. The important thing is to keep practising and keep at it.

07 February 2011My mom just ordered 13 Secrets from over the Ocean. I am so excited. Will you be in the USA Chicago area anytime during the release? I would love to say hi to you, and get a signed book. My mom is named Tanya and we have 2 black cats Jack and Tiger. Weird huh. Tori Sweet

Nice to hear from you! Hope you're not waiting too long for 13 Secrets to arrive. I don't have any plans to be in the US at the moment - any book tours have to be organised by my publisher. I was in Chicago for a night last year to meet with librarians and booksellers before 13T was published there though. I hope to come back one day. Hi to your mom, and your cats!

06 February 2011I was just reading the 13 facts about you, 13 is my lucky number too. All my friends think I'm wierd because of it but I like going against the superstitions. Do the dreams coming true ever freak you out?
I'm supersitious in other ways (wish I wasn't) but 13 has not proved unlucky for me (yet). Yes, dreams coming true, and some dreams in general, have freaked me (and also my family) out.
