Hey Michelle i am really exited about your ghost book for a comp not this time but another if Lauren and i work together. What is a bookplate? When is the ghost story coming out and do you know the name of it. Is there a way to find the bracelett cheaper?

Hi Nicole. A bookplate is a sticky label that I sign and then you put it in your book - it's basically a way of me signing your book for you if you can't get to one of my signings. The ghost story is due out in February 2011. I don't have a title yet. You could try making your own bracelet more cheaply by buying charms on somewhere like ebay. If you only add a few charms to start and collect them over time for birthdays etc then it will spread the cost.

28 March 2011I was just reading some stuff about you and you said your lucky number is 13, it's mine too! The reason behind it is because at school I am number 13! In tutor i'm the 13th name, i have computer no.13 at school, my locker is no.13 and i read your books that have 13 on them! So it came to me rather than me choosing it! Also I just want to say that i love to write and currently writing an idea! anyway, I got to go bye!
That's a lot of 13s! I find it crops up a lot unintentionally as well. I often pick seat 13 without realising it, and one of the trains I used to take regularly came in/left from platform 13. Hope you're taking part in the writing comp.

28 March 2011Hi Michelle! I just wanted to say that I LOVE your books! I have read all three of the 13 treasures,curses and secrets!!! I have litrally just finnished the 13 secrets and I LOVED it!!! It is dark and has so many cliff hangers that i'm staying up to 12 o'clock at night because they're so good!! It was all fantastic! Are you writing another 13 book? Because i just can't get enough of them!! bye
Hi Emily, thanks! Hope you didn't get into trouble for staying up so late :) I may write another '13' at some point but not just yet - busy writing a new ghost story.

I would just like to say I know if your books are turned into a film you would probably not be the one to choose the characters but I would really LOVE to be Tanya. I am tall for 11. If there is ever any auditions for parts please could you put the info on your website.

Not yet, Izze - 13 Curses is due out in the States in June. 13 Secrets will be published sometime next year.

27 March 2011I'm almost 13! The 26th April is my birthday which is the day after Easter Monday! Don't you think 13 is such a cool age, especially the -teen bit on the end? Also, you're probably right about Fabian's head exploding with pride about having his own fan club...
I remember being just as excited to turn thirteen for the same reason, Emma! Happy Birthday for the day.
